Trek in Gosaikunda of Rasuwa, Nepal

Gosaikunda, also spelled Gosainkunda and Gosain Kunda is an alpine freshwater oligotrophic lake in Nepal's Langtang National Park, located at an altitude of 4,380 m in the Rasuwa District with a surface of 13.8 ha.
Langtang/Gosainkunda Trek is the extension of popular Langtang Valley Trek. This amazing adventure caters spectacular views of the Himalayas and authentic culture of Tamang tribe, who migrated to the region from Tibet almost 400 years ago.The typical trekking trail of the trek, which goes up and down frequently on the rolling forested hills also manifests floral and faunal diversity of Langtang National Park. The latter half of the trek treads up to th elevated sacred lake of Gosainkunda, which is so serene and beautiful.
This is moderate teahouse trek that best suits to trekkers who have plans of spending 2 weeks in Nepal. Relatively an easy walk that goes as high as 4300m, Langtang Gosainkunda Trek can be enjoyed by experienced as well as novice trekkers.
